5.Anything that is using powerful signals might ruin the signal of the transmitter and that’s why it only works from a close range.

Things to do if the Pushbutton doesn’t work:
1. The first thing you should check is if the wires aren’t in contact. If they are, that can happen at the rear of the opener or at the Pushbutton, then the button won’t work;
2. If it still doesn’t work then you should disconnect the wires and try to short them across the screws of the button. You should use a screw driver to do that.

If while the door closes and when it reaches the floor it opens then here is what you should do:
1. If something is between the door and the floor then it won’t close. Check for   anything that might be there and remove it if it is present;
2. It could also happen that the concrete will sink or heave. The manual will offer details on how to fix this on sections that should sound something like “Close Position” and “Entrapment Test”.

If the opener activates itself then you should check the wiring of the Pushbutton. These are the most common problems with garage door openers. If you assured yourself that something must be broken, you will have to replace that part.
