Another thing what is good to know that a Genie chain drive carriage for example is good for any Genie chain drive garage door opener. This applies for the other types of openers too.

Safety beams cost around $40. You will also receive everything you need to install them. The important thing is to test them after you installed them. Without a safety someone could get badly injured or in the worst case killed.
